In the 90’s no girls college existed in the area of Farash Town. A lot of girls couldn’t continue their education because of this problem. Due to insistence of the parents, Sultana Foundation decided to start a girls college. In 2001 after affiliation from Punjab University Princess Sultana Degree College for Women was started. Since then, this college has been actively imparting education to women at under graduate and graduate level. A lot of students after graduating from here have joined back as teachers and other positions.
