DR. NAEEM GHANI,
Founding Chairman of Sultana Foundation

The centre was inaugurated on Feb 07, 2014. The vision of founder Chairman was that we can change the society only by providing proper education and imparting basic know how to our youth. Our prevailing education system has failed to provide the correct path to boost the abilities of our youth to coup up with practical life challenges. Hence besides many basic educational institutions we started a new project “ Naeem Ghani Center (NGC)”

The Sultana Foundation’s Mission “Social Reconstruction through Human Development” is based on thinking of realignment, refinement and reassessment of requirement of education for our society.

Keeping in view the needs, Sultana Foundation established “NGC” to achieve the aim “Connecting Education to the Societal Needs”

This center has following 3 core projects on which working is going on.

PROJECTS

  1. Educational Research and Social Development Department (ERSDD)
  2. Media and Publication Cell (MPC)
  3. NG Forum(Conferences & Seminars) (NGF)

Beside these programs, trainings, seminars, workshops and dissemination of new ideas are the main focus of “NGC”

Hassan Naeem
Executive Director

  • Several literacy centers and primary schools were opened in different villages around Sultana Foundation. With passage of time these students got admission in Sultana Foundation or other schools in the area. At present Sultana Foundation primary schools are working in two villages of Kirpa & Dhreek Mori.

The aim & objective of this program is:

  • To enable every child of the area up to age of 10 to read and recite Holy Quran correctly.
  • To make Urdu literacy and teachings of Holy Quran part of the curriculum.
  • To involve people and parents in character building of the children
  • Formerly known as Women Development Literacy & Education Institute, it was established in 1993 as part of Sultana Foundation’s program to bring women at par with men in society. Therefore it was necessary that women be provided basic education & vocational training skills. In some households in the suburbs of Sultana Foundation, parents were reluctant to send their women to a far off place therefore formal and non-formal schools /centers were set up in distant & remote villages. This was the very basis of Sultana Foundation’s commitment to provide services accessible & convenient to public.
  • The department started with various vocational and educational centers in the suburbs of Islamabad, their head office being in the premises of Sultana Foundation. A large amount of women benefitted from our centers.
